2022 RUN FOR IT RESULTS

The Tucker Community Foundation challenges participants to raise team support for the community cause of their choice during the Run For It 2022 campaign and then run or walk for that cause in a 2k/5k event in Davis, WV.

RUN FOR IT is a 2k (1.2M) walk and USATF- certified 5k (3.1M) race around the scenic mountain town of Davis, W.Va. during Leaf Peepers Festival. This year's event is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24.

The event raises funds and awareness for community organizations, projects, nonprofit agencies, educational activities, and charities located within the Foundation’s service area (see map below). Speed is not required to win.

At its heart, RUN FOR IT has two goals:
1. To encourage participation in a healthy activity (running & walking).
2. To leverage funds for area causes.

Entry fee proceeds, team sponsor support, and cash awards benefit the racer's favorite:
* Non-profit organization
* Youth group
* Civic organization
* Public Library
* Community improvement project
* School project or educational trip
* School & community based athletic group
* Existing or new TCF Endowed Fund and other charitable causes
