Cause: To fund projects to increase awareness of the importance of spaying and neutering your animals, and continue to help improve the facilities of our NO-KILL animal shelter that provides a warm and loving environment for unwanted and abandoned pets while trying to find them permanent homes.
|After School Explorers||Captain Susie Huggins & Heather Miller|
Cause: The After School Explorers mission is to increase academic success. ASE provides opportunities such as after school programming, community computer and library access, and Little Learners. ASE teams with a variety of organizations to offer Energy Express, Zero Robotics, and other out of school enrichments.

Cause: The Kalie Hostutler Ashby Academic Achievement Fund honors the memory of Kalie and her belief in the possibilities that higher education brings to today's young people. through this fund, we hope to encourage and inspire Garrett College students to pursue the highest level of academic success, just as Kalie did.

Cause: BPL's mission is to be an informational center for our community, providing materials and opportunities to educate, enlighten, and entertain. We are using this opportunity to fundraise the needed matching funds for our West Virginia Grants-In-Aid.

Cause: Heart of the Highlands Trail System is a nonprofit working closely with Tucker County public lands, private landowners, and community stakeholders to create an outstanding trail system. HoH believes a well designed and maintained system of trails will attract visitors and contribute to the economic development of Tucker County.

Cause: Raise money to help teens attend Young Life fall weekend and summer camp. So teens can have "the best week of their life"!
|WV Gold Star Mothers||Captain Joel Hannah|
Cause: WV Gold Star Mothers is a department of American Gold Star Mothers. We are a non profit service organization. Our top goal is to assist veterans. Currently we are supporting the memorial tree planting and upkeep at Canaan Valley State Park. We help homeless veterans as well as those currently deployed.
|Challenged Athletes of WV||Captain David Begg|
Cause: Challenged Athletes of WV provides adaptive sports and recreation opportunities for children and adults with disabilities. Programs include adaptive ski school operations in Pocahontas and Tucker Counties, summer activities, and annual multi-sports camps for wounded veterans and their families. Challenged Athletes of WV is a chapter of Disabled Sports USA and a Paralympic Sport Club

|Literacy Volunteers of Randolph County||Captain Akiko Endo|
Cause: Literacy volunteers of Randolph County promotes literacy in Randolph County. Through volunteer teaching programs to individuals wishing to improve literacy. We provide tutoring in basic reading to adult students and in English as a Second Language to non-native English speakers in Randolph.
|Philippi Public Library Bookworms||Captain Judy Larry|
Cause: The Philippi Public Library Bookworms are raising funds, support, and awareness for the library to match our WV Grant-in-Aid, meet operational expenses, provide quality materials, programs, classes, and services, and maintain an aging facility.

Cause: To encourage donations to and raise funds for the Tucker Community Foundation's Preston Community Fund.
|Mountain Laurel Learning Cooperative||Captain Jocelyn Gaujot|
Cause: Mountain Laurel Learning Cooperative inspires children to become creative, life-long scholars and engaged, compassionate citizens in their community.
|Team Hannah||Captain The Friend Family|
Cause: Team Hannah was created in memory of Hannah Friend to support the youth of Tucker County by sharing the message of Christ's love. Today the fund sponsors community children with church camp scholarships, youth trips, and weekly youth activities. Team Hannah thanks you for giving children in the community the opportunity to learn about God through this outreach at Community Bible Church.

Cause: Fresh Canvas supports the creative arts in Tucker County Schools.

Cause: To provide assistance and glasses to those in need. We also help our local school, Aurora, any way they need.

Cause: Kasson School, in partnership with parents and the community, will strive to meet the needs of all students with programs consisting of the highest standards of educational excellence in the least restrictive environment.

Cause: Revitalizing downtown Parsons. Working on two buildings currently. Also providing events and activities for the community, including Celebrate Parsons, Bike & Hike, Harvest Celebration, and Christmas House Tours.
|Team Pioneer||Captains Genevieve Brosky & Marlena Chestnut|
Cause: Team Pioneer is raising money to maintain and enhance the services of Pioneer Memorial Public Library. We hope to support PMPL's mission to "engage, empower, educate, and entertain by providing access to information." PMPL serves the residents of Harman, its surrounding communities, and as the library for the Harman School.

Cause: West Virginia Mountain Ministries is an outreach ministry that utilizes our God-given location in Canaan Valley to find unique ways to share Jesus. We reach out to residents and visitors in Tucker County through ski-in worship services, sportsman suppers, resort ministries, wilderness survival training classes, etc.

Cause: Public libraries ensure that education, knowledge, and technology are available to everyone, and in our small rural community the library is a lifeline for many! The proposed defunding of the Institute of Museum and Library Services at the federal level will have a profound impact on all libraries in WV, especially our own Mountaintop Public Library. While we are striving toward construction of a new library building, it is also very important to keep our current library operations at the highest level possible. The proceeds from the 2017 Run For It will be used for the purchase of books, programming, supplies, and technology (40%), as well as contributing towards the Mountaintop Public Library New Building Match Fund (60%). The continued support of our community is greatly appreciated.

Cause: We are seeking creative ways to support our School Wide Positive Behavior Intervention and Support Plan. Funds will be used to purchase supplies and rewards as we promote the STAG STOMP: Show Respect, Take Responsibility, Overcome Your Problems, Motivate to Learn, and Prepare for Success.
|Cub Scouts - Pack 88||Captain Charlie Friddle|
Cause: It is the mission fo the Cub Scouts to serve others by helping to instill values in young people and in other ways, to prepare them to make ethical choices during their lifetime in achieving their full potential. These values are based on the Scout Oath & Law.

Cause: Our obligation to the Aurora Community is to preserve & display historical items whether it is genealogy, old deeds, civil war items, historical letters, photos, school items, plus many items that have been used by past generations and entrusted to us to preserve for future generations.

Cause: To increase, strengthen, and build our current programs, includes Summer Reading, Pre-School Storytime Class, Book Club Discussion Group, Summer Movie Days, Movie Nights, and Musical Programs.
