Apply Now for Preston Community Fund Grant – August 31, 2015 – Preston county non-profit organizations have until Sept. 18 to apply for grant support from the Preston Community Fund, an unrestricted endowment established as a pilot project through the Tucker Community Foundation. Awards will be based on recommendations from a Preston County Advisory Committee and approval by the Tucker Community Foundation Board of Directors.  Awards will be announced after the fall board meeting scheduled on October 21.

Completed applications can be dropped off before 4pm on Sept. 18 at the TCF office located at 100 Education Lane, Parsons; or mailed (postmark by 9/18) to the Grants – PCF, PO Box 587, Kingwood, WV 26537 or Tucker Community Foundation, PO Box 491, Parsons, WV  26287.

The Preston Community Fund was established to benefit the citizens and communities of Preston County by providing perpetual funding for grant and scholarship awards.  Tucker Community Foundation seeded the fund through a $5,000 challenge match incentive.  Donations from the general public continue to grow the endowment.
