Okay, well my name is Mark Joesph. I am Past Grand Knight of the Council 603 Knights of Columbus. We are centered out of Randolph County and Upshur County.

Well the first Run For It, ‘course I was brave and decided to run the 5K. I did okay that year. I was in shape so it worked out pretty good. We had just a small group of guys at that point in time. I think we just barely made the limit of the team requirement. Over time we seemed to gain momentum as that went.

We were very much impressed with the organization, you know, for a community as small as Davis. I’ve done many races throughout the state and you were very well organized, You focused very much on safety which was important to us. And also just the sophistication of the timing, I mean the chips, and having all the hallmarks of a good race event was very impressive.
