The Republican Newspaper supports Garrett County Teams

The Republican Newspaper supports Garrett County teams participating in Run For It, an annual 2k/5k walk and run that benefits communities in North Central WV and Garrett County, MD.  Participants in the program walk and run to vie for large grant awards that benefit non-profits, civic groups, educational programs and other charities.  The Republican Newspaper contribution will benefit Garrett County teams that raise the most sponsor donations for their community cause.   The race will be held 11 am,  Saturday, Sept. 24 in Davis.  The race starts and finishes at the Davis Fire Hall on Rt. 32 and winds through town. Racers can enjoy food, live music, craft vendors and other Leaf Peeper Festivities after the race.
