June 12, 2015 – Tucker Community Foundation hosted a Scholarship Reception June 9th at Canaan Valley Institute in Davis. The meet and greet presented an opportunity for donors who endowed a scholarship fund to connect with the students who received an award this year. The TCF Class of 2015 includes students from six counties receiving awards totaling $70,000.
David Moran, TCF Board Member from Preston County, served as emcee. He welcomed students and parents and encouraged them to read the history related to each scholarship fund to fully appreciate the donor’s intent by visiting www.tuckerfoundation.net.
