Contest submissions will be accepted through midnight Monday, April 30. The winning entry will be selected by members of the Preston Community Fund Advisory Committee and be announced via a press release, on the Tucker Community Foundation’s website, social media posts and by direct contact with the winner.

“The Preston Community Fund is looking for something fun, creative and refreshing, a logo that reflects the fund’s purpose,” said Kelly Stadelman, development director for the Tucker Community Foundation. “There are a couple requirements we would like each entry to include. The logo must contain an image or outline of Preston County, the Tucker Community Foundation logo and the name, Preston Community Fund.”

Interested persons and groups should email Stadelman, kelly@tuckerfoundation.net, to obtain a high resolution logo for the Tucker Community Foundation.

The Preston Community Fund was established in 2012 by the Tucker Community Foundation whose mission is to create opportunities for the communities we serve. The Preston Community Fund provides unrestricted grant and scholarship awards to benefit students and charities in Preston County.

Things to know about the contest:

  • The logo will be used by the Preston Community Fund in all media, including online, print, on merchandise and other visual collateral.
  • Logos cannot contain copyrighted material. Logos must have been created and edited by the contestant(s). Logos may not include images or licensed images that have been previously published. The logo also must be easy to reproduce and be adaptable for large and small formats.
  • The logo must be CMYK format, although the logo may also be produced in black and white. The logo must be easy to use, handle, resize, and manipulate for all reproduction purposes. It should be visually appealing on both small and large scales.

All entries must be submitted to Kelly Stadelman, kelly@tuckerfoundation.net in the original source file. They should be submitted as a .PNG, .JPG or .PSD (Resolution of 300 dpi) and as a .PDF file (less than 10 MB). If the logo incorporates non-standard fonts, entrants must provide the font should your logo be selected. If you are chosen as a winner, you must be able to provide a high-resolution vector file.

Contestants agree that Preston Community Fund may publish the logo and name(s) and may use both for advertising campaigns and/or marketing materials. Contestants assign all ownership rights, including all intellectual property rights to the logo, to the Preston Community Fund.

Additionally, the Preston Community Fund may alter, modify or revise the logo as needed. The Preston Community Fund reserves the right to not select a winner if, in its discretion, no suitable entries are received.
